Based on the unceded Szt’uminus Territories of Vancouver Island, Mourning Cloak is a grief-education and arts initiative focused on Eco-Grief: a growing phenomenon stemming from the accelerated erasure of species, land, and diversity in our current world.

Large-scale eco-grief community participation projects, bringing public/community visibility to specific or local issues within the greater global ecocide.
Grief in Classrooms
Eco-grief and grief-skills programming designed for early learners in classroom settings, sowing seeds of emotional sensitivity, comradery, and stewardship for the next generation. Age-appropriate, inclusive, creative, expansive, hopeful.
